Patrick co-founded Clara to change the way that startups interact with their lawyers. Having honed his skills at DLA Piper and Jones Day, two of the world’s largest law firms, Patrick has extensive experience in guiding entrepreneurs through the maze of legal issues they face every day. He is unwavering in his belief that the legal industry needs to be driven in a fresh and innovative direction in order to maintain its relevancy.

Patrick believes entrepreneurs are the engines of every economy, driving positive growth, not only in their respective sectors, but the world as a whole. He is passionate about using his skill set to support entrepreneurs and the companies they are building. Patrick also enjoys challenging the assumption that, due to their extreme politeness, Canadians cannot excel at having difficult conversations.
